IT’S TIME.
VOTE YES FOR OUR KIDS!

On Tuesday, April 14, our community can make a smart, responsible choice for Staples–Motley students — improving our schools for today and protecting them for the next generation.

A tax-neutral school improvement plan is a no‑brainer.

Better schools, same school tax rate.

As parents, we all want our kids to feel safe, supported, and proud of their school. This bond referendum is about more than just taking care of what we have — it will update aging spaces, fix long-standing building needs, and make sure our schools match the kind of education we expect in 2026 and beyond.

SAFER. MORE MODERN. EXPANDED OPPORTUNITY.

ALL WITHOUT RAISING THE SCHOOL TAX RATE.

This plan is a practical set of improvements that will impact our students’ futures, not for one big flashy thing. It’s about the everyday spaces our kids use: entrances, classrooms, career training areas, activity spaces, and essential repairs. When this passes, the district will be able to:

Enhance safety and security

Complete maintenance and efficiency upgrades

Strengthen Career & Technical Education (CTE) and career pathways

Improve accessibility

Update activity and community-use spaces

Modernize classrooms and learning areas

WHY WOULDN’T WE SAY YES TO A PLAN WITH NO SCHOOL TAX RATE CHANGE?

This is our window: same tax —> real improvements.

IT’S TIME TO VOTE YES.

We know costs go up when you wait. We also know our school buildings are aging and need attention. This plan is designed to be tax neutral — replacing expiring debt with new debt — so the district’s school tax rate stays stable while we finally tackle the highest-priority needs.
